Founded by Mehdi Boujrada, Villa Jerada is an award-winning brand offering Moroccan and Levantine pantry products that celebrate ancestral culinary traditions. The name Villa Jerada, meaning 'House of the Cricket,' comes from Boujrada's family home in Casablanca, Morocco.

Based in Seattle, Washington, Villa Jerada brings authentic, vibrant flavors to everyday cooking. A perfect example is shakshuka, a quick Moroccan dish that embodies Boujrada's mission: to make even the simplest meals more flavorful and enriching.

From the producers:

"It really, really pleases us to see Dukkah finding its way onto menus at great restaurants and into Zeitgeist-y cookbooks. And it’s not that Dukkah is so good, it deserves to be known; it’s that you deserve Dukkah, because it’s that good. First pounded in Egypt, the rustic mix of herbs, spices, and hazelnuts is revelatory on a dip or pile of labne or on a halved and roasted squash. But also do as the Egyptians do and delight in Dukkah with some boiled eggs, good oil, and crusty bread.

Recommended for complimenting dips, roasted vegetables, meats, and stews or best simply served in the traditional way with hard boiled eggs olive oil, and bread.

Ingredients: Hazelnuts (grown in Oregon), coriander, cumin, cayenne, salt, sesame seed."
