Charcoal crackers were first made in England in the 19th century as an aid to digestion. The Fine Cheese Co. has refined and reimagined these historic crackers as 'Black Squares,' replacing the charcoal with black cocoa powder. Buttery and crumbly in texture and delicate in flavor, they make a visually striking (and surprisingly delicious) addition to a cheese board.
INGREDIENTS: Wheat flour, butter, black reduced fat cocoa powder, whey powder, sugar, autolyzed yeast, sea salt, baking soda.
