Formaggio Kitchen Olive Oil Club

Discover a Variety of High-Quality Olive Oils!

Our buyers at Formaggio Kitchen take curating our olive oil selection seriously. We prioritize working directly with small-scale producers who are growing their own olives, often varieties that are native to their area, and who produce extra virgin olive oil. An olive oil being extra virgin is important to us for two main reasons: it means the olives were cold-pressed (a process that preserves the oil's natural flavor, aroma, and nutritional value) and it indicates a certain level of quality in that it was evaluated for any defects, etc.

Our Olive Oil Club is perfect for someone looking to discover and experience a variety of different high-quality olive oils each quarter of the year and learn something new along the way.

3rd Quarter 2026 Selection

A Well-Rounded Pantry

We curated quarter’s selection with the idea of stocking a pantry in mind. You’re receiving an everyday olive oil, and three finishing oils: a plain, a rich oil made with black olives, and a citrus-infused oil.

Aria Extra Virgin Olive Oil

This extra virgin olive oil from Greek producer Aria in Western Crete is our go-to everyday olive oil. It is produced from estate-grown Koroneiki olives crushed within hours of being picked from the tree. Named “Outstanding Olive Oil” by the Specialty Food Association, this exceptional and versatile oil is beloved for its distinctive smooth flavor, aroma and low acidity.

Le 4 Contrade Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Le 4 Contrade is a new Puglian producer we just imported from Italy into the shop. Their 100% Coratina extra virgin olive oil is obtained from "Gran Selezione" of their best olives. The olives are processed immediately after harvesting. The result is a bold and spicy olive oil that’s fragrant with hints of fresh grass, fresh artichoke, thyme, and tomato leaves. This finishing oil packs a punch, a little goes a long way.

Mas de Bories Olives Maturées

This distinctive olive oil from Mas des Bories in Provence, France is made from mature olives. The result is an oil with ripe, black olive aromas and powerful cocoa-like flavors. It makes a great finishing oil, adding a savory yet fruity note to any dish.

Agrumato Citron Olive Oil

This aromatic, citron-infused olive oil is made in the region of Abruzzo, Italy. It's produced by pressing olives and citron fruit together, which helps capture the freshest and most flavorful citrus aromas. The citron (‘cedro’ in Italian), is a large, lemon-like fruit with a thick, intensely fragrant skin. Use this finishing oil to add a bright, citrus note to dishes without the acidity.
