This stunning jamón is made from free-range 100% Ibérico pigs. This amazing pig species nearly doubles its weight during the "Montanera" season (which happens from October through February) when it is feasting exclusively on acorns and grass. This special diet gives the cured ham a decadently buttery and nutty flavor as well as the beautifully marbled fat throughout which melts upon contact with your mouth. This ham is truly an out-of-this-world gastronomic experience. This package is conveniently pre-sliced by hand and ready for you to serve. 

Montaraz has perfected the art of curing fine Spanish ham over the last 125 years. They use only 100% pure-breed, acorn-fed Ibérico pigs that spend their lives wandering the beautiful dehesa. The hams are cured for over three years, creating an intense flavor and exceptional richness.
