Description
Discovered on a trip to Puglia with Oldways Preservation and trust. Puglia is olive oil country: the region produces more than 70% of the total olive oil production in Italy.
This oil is made using Ogliarola and Coratina olives which yield a buttery texture and robust spicy flavor that is typical of the region. The peppery kick on the finish is an indication of the high polyphenol level which has been shown to be heart-healthy and a natural preservative against oxidation which means the oil stays fresh longer. This is our preferred oil for salads.
