In 1896, Joaquim Ferreira Pedro Lucas, with its dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit, founded the first canned fish production plant in ‘Matosinhos’.
From that moment on, the cognomen ‘Luças’ begins its life as a canned fish brand.
These mussels are Hand-selected from the finest waters of Portugal, known for their ideal temperature, location, and species mix, these mussels are then prepared with traditional Portuguese methods and canned in a delectable spiced pickled sauce.
