Formaggio Kitchen Confiture Club
Delight in a Range of Flavors from Around the World!
Formaggio Kitchen is perhaps best known for our robust cheese selection—we have anywhere from 200-300 different cheeses at a given time on the counter at our flagship store on Huron Ave in Cambridge! Naturally, our love for cheese steered us on a life-time journey to find the best accompaniments to go with it. Over the years we have cultivated a diverse selection of confitures—from small-batch, seasonally driven French jams to preserves with unique and experimental flavor combinations—and everything in between.
Whether you're a lover of confitures because of their natural connection to cheese or for their ability to transform a fresh pot of yogurt or a piece of crusty toast into a revelatory experience, our Confiture Club is a great way to get introduced to a new jam, jelly, preserve, or something of the like each quarter of the year.

3rd Quarter 2026 Selection
Berry Jams
This quarter we’ve curated a selection of jams that celebrate the humble berry: from the popular strawberry, to raspberry, to the more rare mulberry.
La Strega di Triora Strawberry and Thyme Jam
La Strega di Triora has been producing seasonal preserves in Italy's mountainous region of Triora since 1986. Each batch is still made by hand and cooked in copper pots which helps the fruits to maintain their rich colors and flavors. This strawberry and thyme preserve has a smooth and almost pour-able consistency, as no pectin is added to the recipe. The addition of thyme gives this preserve a fresh, herbal note that complements the sweetness of the strawberries.
Confitures de Raphaël Framboise (Raspberry) Jam
To make his jams (which have a big following among our customers), Raphaël Guillo Lohan harvests organically-grown fruits from his own orchards in Brittany, France. Each batch is made over an open fire in a big copper cauldron in his kitchen. A very short cooking time ensures the freshness and purity of fruit flavor that these jams are famous for. Each jar is lovingly adorned with a beautiful label drawn by Raphaël's aunt. This exquisite example of raspberry jam: it is aromatic and slightly tart.
Yun Hai Mulberry Jam
Yun Hai’s Taiwanese fruit preserves are just that—Taiwanese fruit and not much else. They’re so fresh, we almost wouldn’t call them jam; they're closer to a fruit sauce than to jelly. They feature large chunks of fruit, are lower in sugar than conventional versions, and are prepared in micro-batches to ensure the gentlest of processing. This Mulberry jam tastes as close to freshly crushed mulberries as you can get: tart, sweet, and almost blackberry-like. This preserve retains the texture of the entire fruit, complete with juicy flesh and crunchy seeds.
