Spoon sweets are traditional preserves typically made of whole fruit in syrup. This spoon sweet is made with the fragrant citrus fruit bergamot, which is the same fruit that gives Earl Gray tea its distinctive flavor. Try it with olive oil cake, yogurt, vanilla ice cream, or fresh goat cheese.
