Charcuterie is the culinary art of preserving meat. With origins in France, the practice encompasses a variety of preservation techniques like curing, salting, smoking, drying, or cooking. While the most popular products are pork-based, charcuterie can be made from any type of meat, including but not limited to: duck, rabbit, veal, lamb, beef, and more. At Formaggio Kitchen we have a fully staffed charcuterie program where we make pâté and other preparations in-house. We also work with artisans both in the United States and abroad to source delicacies like Jamón ibérico from Spain or 'Nduja from Italy. Our Charcuterie Club is perfect for the meat lover who wants to experience the endless possibilities that the art form of charcuterie has to offer.
