Description
Each Saladini knife in their cheese collection was designed with a specific cheese in mind, and without excessive design flourishes. This knife is designed to cut large format, soft cheeses such as creamy brie or a deeply flavored blue such as Gorgonzola Dolce. The blade is forged using AISI 420 stainless steel and the handle is made of water buffalo horn or olive wood. The knife is about 13 1/2 inches long with a blade of about 7 1/2 inches.
Buffalo horn is a natural material and can vary in color from knife to knife. Generally, buffalo horn handles are solid black, but some will have some fine white coloration as well.
