Description
This unique specialty is made using a recipe directly from the Quintosapore brothers' Grandma Giuggioli, who made sure no tomatoes were left uncooked, even when at the end of the season, only unripe green ones were left on the plants. They brothers harvest their organic green tomatoes at the end of October, slice them by hand, brine and store them 'sott'olio' in their extra virgin olive oil. Chef Nic, one of the twin brother farmers, recommends adding them to your next cheese plate.
INGREDIENTS: green tomato, extra virgin olive oil, white wine vinegar, aglione garlic from Valdichiana, peperoncino essiccato, sale, timo essiccato.
