Formaggio Kitchen Olive Oil Club
Discover a Variety of High-Quality Olive Oils!
Our buyers at Formaggio Kitchen take curating our olive oil selection seriously. We prioritize working directly with small-scale producers who are growing their own olives, often varieties that are native to their area, and who produce extra virgin olive oil. An olive oil being extra virgin is important to us for two main reasons: it means the olives were cold-pressed (a process that preserves the oil's natural flavor, aroma, and nutritional value) and it indicates a certain level of quality in that it was evaluated for any defects, etc.
Our Olive Oil Club is perfect for someone looking to discover and experience a variety of different high-quality olive oils each quarter of the year and learn something new along the way.

1st Quarter 2026 Selection
Olio Nuovo
This quarter we’re celebrating the freshest olive oil we can get our hands on from the fall 2025 harvest.
Tenute Librandi Giarraffa Extra Virgin Olive Oil
A brand new import from Italy, we are excited to showcase an olive oil region that’s historically been missing from our shelf: Calabria. This extra virgin olive oil is made from 100% Giarraffa olives harvested from the olive groves owned by the Tenute Librandi company. It has a complex flavor with notes of unripe almond, thistle, and chicory accompanied by a strong spicy yet balanced bitterness.
Located in Vaccarizzo Albanese in Cosenza, Calabria, the Librandi farm was founded in 1967 by Pasquale Librandi following a century-old familiar tradition of olive production. Applying only organic farming methods, the Librandi family harvests each cultivar they grow separately from October to November, crushing them within just a few hours in their own mill.
Salustri Frantoio Leccino Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This Tuscan extra virgin olive oil is made from a blend of Moraiolo and Leccino olives, giving it a bold flavor. It has aromas of tomato leaves, green olives and some grass in the bouquet, and fine notes of almonds, hints of citrus, and a clear sharpness and bitterness on the palate. It’s balanced yet its aftertaste is long-lasting.
The Salustri Estate is located in the heart of Maremma, on the slopes of Mount Amiata, an ideal microclimate that has always supported their organic farming. For generations they have produced quality wines and olive oil. Their oil comes from a carefully selected, hand-picked variety of olives (Leccino, Moraiolo, and Frantoio) grown strictly organically. It is bottled immediately to fully savor its aromas and preserve its organoleptic characteristics.
Olio Taibi Biancolilla Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This extra virgin olive oil is produced exclusively with the “Biancolilla” olive variety organically grown in the Taibi family estate near the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Sicily, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This olive oil exhibits fruitiness, green grass, almond, sweetness, bitterness, medium pungency, and notes of red pepper.
Olio Taibi’s single-estate, organic extra virgin olive oils are the direct result of the passion and craftsmanship of Gino Taibi who represents the third generation of olive oil making for the Taibi family.
