Formaggio Kitchen Confiture Club
Delight in a Range of Flavors from Around the World!
Formaggio Kitchen is perhaps best known for our robust cheese selection—we have anywhere from 200-300 different cheeses at a given time on the counter at our flagship store on Huron Ave in Cambridge! Naturally, our love for cheese steered us on a life-time journey to find the best accompaniments to go with it. Over the years we have cultivated a diverse selection of confitures—from small-batch, seasonally driven French jams to preserves with unique and experimental flavor combinations—and everything in between.
Whether you're a lover of confitures because of their natural connection to cheese or for their ability to transform a fresh pot of yogurt or a piece of crusty toast into a revelatory experience, our Confiture Club is a great way to get introduced to a new jam, jelly, preserve, or something of the like each quarter of the year.

3rd Quarter 2025 Selection
ANATRA Conserverie Moderne Mango Jam
ANATRA Conserverie Moderne, based on the island of Corsica in France, is the labor of love for duo Aurélie and Christophe. Each of their products is a representation of the particular season during which they are crafted. They are known for their creativity and whimsy when it comes to flavor combinations. Working with local Corsican producers who favor organic and sustainable agriculture, they create their jams in batches not exceeding 4kg of fruit when cooking. This technique allows them to highlight the true expression of the fruit without using excess sugar or any dyes or preservatives.
Their Mango jam achieves a unique balance of sweet, savory, and slightly spicy notes. It's a playful combination of fresh mangoes, sugar, vinegar, raisins, ginger, and the iconic French pepper Piment d'Espelette, as well as a small amount of fruit-based pectin. We love pairing this jam with strong cheeses like blue cheese or very rich and creamy cheeses like a triple crème. It can also be used as a glaze for meat or a topping for vanilla ice cream.
Confiture de l'Ardèche Rhubarb Jam
Confiture de l'Ardèche's organic, small-batch, handmade preserves are made by couple Sylvie and Pascal Raunicher at La Ferme de Mazairas in the small town of St. Sylvestre in the region of Ardèche in Southern France. On their tiny farm they cultivate unique varieties of fruit using organic practices. The resulting jams are packed with fresh fruit flavor. To create them, they use less sugar and pectin than other jams, and as a result, the texture is more suited to being scooped with a spoon than spread with a knife. We only receive one shipment of jams from Confiture de l'Ardèche a year because the batches are so seasonal and limited. Their jams are exclusive to Formaggio Kitchen in the United States.
Ardèche's pure rhubarb jam has a stunning green color and delightfully tart flavor. We love pairing it with fresh goat cheeses or bloomy rinds like Brie or Camembert. It can also be utilized in or on baked goods, or enjoyed simply dolloped on a bowl of yogurt.
Confitures de Raphaël Cherry Jam
Raphaël Guillo Lohan discovered his passion for jams while working on an apple orchard in his native region of Brittany in France. A bumper crop of apples left enough surplus for a trial batch of apple jam, and Raphaël was hooked. Now he harvests organically-grown fruits from his own orchards, as well as a small selection of citrus fruits grown in the warmer regions of Europe. Each batch is made over an open fire in a big copper cauldron in his kitchen. A very short cooking time ensures the freshness and purity of fruit flavor that these jams are famous for. Each jar is lovingly adorned with a beautiful label drawn by Raphael's aunt. Confitures de Raphaël's jams are exclusive to Formaggio Kitchen in the United States.
Raphaël's classic cherry jam balances sweet and tart cherry flavors. A classic French pairing for this jam is to enjoy it with a wedge of Brebis, a sheep's milk cheese from the Pyrenees region in France. We also love to enjoy it simply on toast or in an elevated PB&J sandwich.
Quinta Do Freixo Fig Jam
Quinta Do Freixo is located in the heart of the Algarve region of Portugal and is dedicated to cultivating local agriculture and livestock. The entire area where they are farming is certified in organic production. Produced without dyes or preservatives and with fruits and vegetables from their estates, their jams are recognized for their quality and refined taste around the world.
To make this simple fig jam, Quinta Do Friexo takes pride in using only the finest, locally sourced figs, resulting in a jam packed with golden fig flavor. This fig jam is highly versatile: a perfect accompaniment to a wide range of cheeses, a sweet topping for yogurt, ice cream, or toast, or even utilized as a glaze for meat.
