Description
The Bialetti Moka Pot is perhaps the most iconic coffee maker to come out of Italy and is a staple in many Italian homes. Its unique shape dates back to 1933, when it was invented by Alfonso Bialetti. Made in Italy of high quality aluminum, it's easy to use and clean. This model makes 6 cups of coffee, perfect for multiple cups for two people or a small group. Suitable for use on both gas and electric stoves. Not dishwasher safe.
To make coffee in the Moka Pot, all you need to do is put boiling water into its base, fill the basket with semi-fine ground coffee, and set it at low heat on the stove until the pot begins to lightly hiss out steam. The result is an espresso-like brew that you can drink on it's own, add a splash of hot water for an americano, or steamed milk of your choice for a latte or cappuccino.
