Description
Membrillo is the Spanish word for quince fruit; however, it is generally used interchangeably with the traditional fruit paste formally known as "dulce de membrillo". Mitica's membrillo is made with 100% Spanish fruit. To preserve its integrity, this producer adds only lemon and a touch of sugar while making the membrillo.
This is a popular cheese accompaniment, It is fruity and balanced yet not overly sweet.
