Description
Inspired by the woods and forests surrounding La Villa's property, this balsamic vinegar has a rich and complex flavor: smooth, fresh, earthy, resinous, and intense. This vinegar is an ongoing experiment for the producer, and each lot is different, made up of many botanicals fermented in small batches or infused in a maple vinegar. It allows them the opportunity to learn more about native plants and their uses, to reconnect with some long-forgotten knowledge and slow down the pace of modern life.
Try it in cocktails, with oysters, on salads, or in sauces, marinades, or soups.
This vinegar was awarded a silver medal in the USI Vinegar Competition.
INGREDIENTS: Maple vinegar, organic maple syrup, conifer leaves and cones (spruce pine, thuya, fir, larch, juniper), fallen leaves, alder pepper.
