This 75% cacao chocolate bar is made with cacao sourced from Cacahoatán in the Chiapas region of Mexico as well as brown sugar. The resulting bar has a soft cacao flavor with citrusy notes of orange.
Kakoa is a Mexican bean-to-bar chocolate producer founded in 2019. Their mission is to bring the unique and authentic experience of Mexican cacao to people around the world. Their cacao is directly sourced from farmer communities in Chiapas in Southeast Mexico. They pay 3-4x the Fair-Trade price of cacao directly to the farmers they work with. Their chocolate bars are made to highlight the flavors naturally found in the cacao and thus aren't made with any unnatural additives or preservatives.
