The cacao for this bar is wild harvested in the Iténez province of Bolivia. The 75% dark chocolate has notes of dried tart cherries, brownie batter, and forest floor.
Godsend is a small bean-to-bar chocolate maker based in Friendship, Maine. Each bar they craft uses beans from a single origin and expresses the unique flavors of the harvest, influenced by the location and climate where the beans were grown and how they were fermented and dried. Their chocolate is carefully roasted, refined, and molded by hand. Then, each bar is wrapped in traditional Japanese mulberry paper that they also produce in their studio.
