Godsend 65% Dark Milk Chocolate Bar from Tumaco, Colombia

Description

This chocolate bar took home the silver prize in the Americas category at the 2023 International Chocolate Awards. The cacao for this bar comes from Tumaco, Colombia. The 65% dark milk chocolate has notes of dark caramel, whiskey barrel, and black walnut. 

Godsend is a small bean-to-bar chocolate maker based in Friendship, Maine. Each bar they craft uses beans from a single origin and expresses the unique flavors of the harvest, influenced by the location and climate where the beans were grown and how they were fermented and dried. Their chocolate is carefully roasted, refined, and molded by hand. Then, each bar is wrapped in traditional Japanese mulberry paper that they also produce in their studio.
