Formaggio Kitchen Coffee Club
Change Up Your Morning Cup Each Month!
Our coffee buyer's goal is to seek out the finest roasters in the United States and Europe. This means they prioritize working with roasters who operate at a small-scale and focus on single-origin coffee. Single-origin coffee refers to coffee beans sourced from a single, specific geographic origin, like a particular farm, region, or even a specific lot on a farm. This thoughtful approach to sourcing is important because it is highly traceable, allowing both us and our customers to know exactly where our coffee is coming from. Also, single-origin beans tend to have distinct flavor profiles that are influenced by factors like the coffee varietal, growing altitude, climate, soil, and processing methods specific to that origin. All that being said, we still love and appreciate blends as well!
By joining our Coffee Club, you'll get to experience a bit of both—perfect for the connoisseur looking to change up their morning cup each month.

October 2025 Selection
Guatemala
This month we're focusing on single-origin coffees with beans grown in Guatemala. While flavor profiles vary by region, Guatemalan coffee is known for its bright, crisp acidity and a complex flavor profile, featuring notes of chocolate, cocoa, nuts, and bright fruits like citrus and berries.
Gracenote Finca La Providencia Guatemala
This washed processed coffee comes from Finca La Providencia, where Gracenote (a roaster based in Boston, MA) has been sourcing high-grown coffees for several years. Operated by Victor Hugo Anzueto, the 96-hectare estate is located in the San Pedro Necta district of Huehuetenango and has been in the Anzueto family for three generations. Tasting notes for this roast include sweet notes of brownie, pear, and honey-roasted cashews. The varietals are: bourbon, catuai, caturra, mundo novo.
Fazenda Guatemala
This medium-dark roasted Guatemalan coffee from our friends at Fazenda in Dedham, MA, is cultivated in the highlands of the western part of the country. It is organically processed, giving it a smooth, rounded flavor with subtle dark notes and a touch of toasted warmth. It is one of their most popular origins, being the preferred choice for many of the cafes and restaurants they serve in the Boston area.
