Overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro, the wild Kilombero valley has exceptional cocoa trees, from the Trinitario and Neo-Nacional varieties. This bar utilizes beans from that region as well as a touch of cashew cream which brings creaminess and sweetness to the tangy red fruit notes in the chocolate.
Barre Clandestine is exclusive to Formaggio Kitchen in the United States. They are a bean-to-bar chocolate maker based outside of Montpellier, France founded by duo Émilie and Emmanuel in 2022.
