Sage Farm is a family-run operation located in Stowe Vermont. Molly and Katie Pindell have been making cheese since 2008. They raise and care for a small herd of registered Alpine goats that produce the milk for their cheeses.

Sterling is a truncated pyramid shape styled after the French classic Valencay. The cheese is dusted with ash and a thin bloomy rind forms over the two week aging period. This cheese has a smooth texture and a tart yet rich, goats milk flavor.
