This tea is a Chinese green tea that has been hand rolled into tightly rolled balls named for their similarity to gunpowder pellets. The number 1 that follows is an indication of the highest quality leaf being used. When brewed, the leaves unfurl slowly and yield a full flavored cup with a deep green-yellow color and aromas of moss and pear. Recommended steep time is 3-4 minutes.
