This rare white tea hails from the province of Fujian in Southeast China. Characterized by its delicate aroma, light golden color and natural subtlety, this is a tea for true connoisseurs. The leaves are covered with a dense white downy hair that is referred to as "pointes blanche". This is truly an astonishing tea. It is mild, but full of complex flavors of toasted grass with a unique touch of sweetness. This is perhaps the most unique tea we have ever had. Recommended steeping time is 8 - 10 minutes.
