Not to be confused with chile powder (a blend of spices), this is straight up ground, red chile peppers. The peppers are sourced from a small farm in New Mexico and are available only in limited quantities.
Mild but full-flavored, this powder can be used in traditional dishes such as chile con carne and posole. Alternately, it is excellent on ribs! Our grillmaster, Eric, uses large quantities of this powder when preparing our Saturday barbecue.
