These wonderful, multipurpose little flakes come to us from Liguria, Italy.
They perk up everything, from spicy pasta sauces to sautéed vegetables to scrambled eggs, and they make pizza sing. Some customers sprinkle a small amount into a bottle of olive oil for a spiced oil at the ready.
Use just a pinch of these dried peppers for a fiery hot and a deep, full flavor. Very little goes a long, long way.
