If you've been paying any attention to the world of artisan cheese over the past 20 years, you know that the progress of American farmstead and artisanal cheese production has been remarkable. We've been working with these cheesemakers since many of them started making their first cheeses. From Carolyn Hillman, Twig Farm, Peaked Mountain, Cato Corner to Jasper Hill, we're proud to carry such incredible products in our stores.
As with our other travels, our domestic travels take us to cheese makers, chocolatiers, beekeepers, growers and charcutiers among others. Each of our visits reassures us that the U.S. continues to make progress toward higher quality products that focus on local resources and care for the environment in which they are produced.
