Tea strikes us as a nearly mystical drink - steeped in the history of fog covered plantations covering ancient hills and mountains throughout India, China and beyond. It can be served with strict ceremony or with the ease of simple enjoyment. Either way, it seems imbued with special qualities we don't find in any other beverage. For this reason, we prefer to find the best quality teas available. We have worked with master blender Dammann Freres based in Paris as well as with local importers Mark T. Wendell and MEM teas both of whom bring us consistently excellent teas both loose leaf and bagged.
