We've tried many other smoked salts but they just don't compare with this amazing and intense salt made by one man in Denmark,  who uses traditional salt-making methods that date back to the vikings.  A number of different hardwoods are used in his fire that slowly evaporates the sea water and gives it the deep sappy smokiness that we love as a finishing salt on poached fish, soups or poached eggs.  A little bit of this salt goes a long way. Please note this salt is enclosed in a small ziploc bag, then inside a metal tin. The salt itself weighs approximately 20g.
