"The tiny, golden-brown sesame seeds are very high in the super foods list. Their mild, sweet, and nutty flavor is present in the mouth in every little satisfying crunchy bite. Our biscuit (Biskota in Greek) with coated sesame recipe, inspired by the famous Melekouni of Rhodes, includes orange and cinnamon which add aroma, acidity and spice to their flavor.
Some “biskota” [biscuits in Greek] are crunchy and crispy, some chewier or melt in the mouth; yet all of them are favorite snacks and treats all over the world.
You can find many recipes for biscuits throughout Greece. Yet, our aim was to present a series of everyday snacks, using mainly ingredients known for their high nutritional value such as oat, nuts, dried fruits and super foods.
Most of them are made with Greek olive oil and are vegan."
