Organic Rare Hawaiian White Honey - 8oz
This pure white honey is unfiltered, unheated, and produced in a single grove of Kiawe trees on the island of Hawai'i. Kiawe is the Hawaiian name for a variety of mesquite native to Ecuador and Peru. Though technically an invasive species, kiawe has been valuable at stopping desertification in the region. It has a tropical, light menthol taste. This honey is decadently creamy, reminiscent of frosting. Slather it on bread or cake, or eat on a spoon straight out of the jar.

This is one of the beautiful tasting honeys I’ve come across. The location, at the base of an active volcano, even sounds gorgeous! Don’t heat it up though! It will lose the creamy nature.
