La Dispensa Marroni al Miele 400g
Years ago, on a trip to the Piedmont region of Italy, we met Matteo Ascheri, an incredible man and brilliant winemaker. He drove us out to Castelmagno to meet some of the cheese producers and see this rare cheese for ourselves. Returning to his Trattoria he served us Bra, Raschera, and Castelmagno, with some of his mamma's chestnuts in honey, or "marroni al miele." We were hooked. Plump chestnuts in thick acacia honey.
