Description

Houjicha is a style of green tea produced by roasting Japanese Bancha leaves (a variety of Sencha) until they have a deep brown color and a toasted flavor. What sweetness the leaves lose from roasting, they make up for with a deeper and rounder flavor that pairs well with food. Recommended steepting time is 1-2 minutes.
