Daphnis & Chloe Greek Oregano from Taygetus - 20g
Evangelia Koutsovoulou works with growers and foragers to carefully select herbs with not only incredible intensity of aroma and flavor, but also deep roots in the local Greek cuisine.
Harvested in June from the Taygetus mountains on the Peloponnese peninsula of Greece, this oregano (Origanum vulgare) is ground by hand. We find that this oregano has both a more intense fragrance and a more complex flavor than what we've found in the States, which means a little bit goes a long way. This particular oregano has a smaller leaf than the variety from Amorgos.
