Oolong (also called Wu-long) is a semi-oxidized whole-leaf tea which, in its finest form, is remarkable for the large leaves that unfold beautifully when brewed.

Oolongs can vary dramatically in flavor as they can be anywhere from 20% to 60% oxidized. China Oolongs undergo a 20% oxidation while Formosa Oolongs undergo a 60% oxidation.

The liquor of this tea is a light cherry color and has a flowery aroma with hints of chestnut.
