Couteau des Sorgues Knife - Olive wood Handle
Description
This simple knife is made in the Piemontese style, also known as a friction folder. The tang of the knife extends to a point beyond the handle, which allows the blade to be opened and closed easily with one hand.
Oringally designed by knifemaker Xavier Conil, this knife is now made by Claude Dozorme in the Auvergne region of France. High quality steel blades are paired with local woods such as olive wood, boxwood, ebony and juniper. The knife has a hefty blade that works perfectly cutting through a salametti secchi or carving off a piece of Comte.
