The Bureau family has been maple sugaring for over five generations in Vermont, Quebec and most recently in Connecticut with the construction of their sugarhouse in the fall of 1992. Traditionally kettle popcorn is made using white sugar. The bureau's figured maple syrup would taste better and they soon became the first producer of maple kettle popcorn or Kettle Korn as they call it.
