Spain
Spain was a relatively recent discovery for us and once it had our attention, it has refused to let us go. We can't get enough of the style of their old metropolitan centers or the rustic intensity of their countryside villages. Tapas offer an endless array of little plates some simple and some put together with the attention to detail of the finest entree. This is a country where finding the artisans of small batch products can sometimes be a challenge as much of their exports have focused on larger cooperative and industrial production.
Even after spending years travelling to Spain, we still feel that it is a country that has yet to hit its stride with its products in the U.S. We hope to find more and more of these artisans and to bring their wonderful food experiences to you.
