In-Store Tastings & Visits

One of our popular cheese tasting classes

We regularly welcome artisan producers to our store to sample out their delicious goodies - from cheese, to ice cream, to beer, to wine, to tea - and more! We also periodically host cookbook signings. And, Patti of On the Edge Knife Sharpening joins us generally once per month to tune-up folks' knives. A schedule of these events is below, and reservations are not necessary.

Please note that during wine tastings, customers are welcome to a 15% discount on cases of featured wines. For any events involving tastings of beer or wine, we validate legal age of our participants.

The days and nights are getting cooler, and we're ready to warm up with a hot cup of tea. Come taste the fresh, bold, rich flavor of Ajiri Tea!

We'll be at the tasting table all afternoon pouring whatever strikes my fancy and ready to field your questions about wine and how to enjoy it.  


Sunday, November 16, 11am-2pm: On the Edge Knife Sharpening
Patti from On the Edge Knife Sharpening will be here sharpening all sorts of dull edges. Stop on by and get your blades taken care of! 


Thursday, November 20, 5pm-7pm: Mise Wines
Join David Mitchell in tasting out wines from Mise Wines.  


Friday, November 21, 4pm-7pm: It's chardonnay? You don't say!
You think you know the most familiar white grape in the world. We'll do our best to convince you otherwise. 


Saturday, November 22, 12pm-3pm: Drink Maple Water
Naturally full of vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, manganese, and of course, lots of refreshing flavor, come taste why we can't stop drinking Maple Water. A fun addition to your Thanksgiving table!
