Made by the Keen family at Moorhayes Farm near Wincanton, Somerset since 1898. This cloth bound cheese is made of unpasteurized cow's milk using traditional animal rennet.
The texture is a bit moister than our other English cheddars, with complex savory, nutty and earthy flavors followed by a bright sharp finish. Pairs nicely with a good English ale and a dab of apple preserves.
