Dario Pozzolo is a leader in the world community of honey producers through his work with Slow Food to encourage artisan apiarists to follow sustainable agricultural practices in their honey production.
Dario is based in Bra and transports his hives all over the surrounding territory of the Roero following the blooms that he wants for his varietal honeys.
The Miele di Tiglio is made from the pollen of what the French call tilleul and what in the English language we call the linden tree, lime tree or Basswood. The honey is a beautiful golden color and is crystallized to a smooth consistency. We find the flavor to have wonderful notes of mint and eucalyptus.
