Each of Maglio's tavolette use cacao from one particular region for a distinctly pure flavor. The Cuba tavolette contains a minimum of 70% cocoa of the Criollo variety grown in Cuba.
It has an amazing balance of aroma and flavor with notes of tobacco, cedar and coffee. We find the flavors of this bar to be almost as 'dark' in its flavors as the Africa, but with a touch more sweetness.
