Each of Maglio's tavolette use cacao from one particular region for a distinctly pure flavor. The Africa comes from cacao plantations of Tanzania, which is then roasted and blended in Italy.
It contains a minimum of 75% cocoa and has a subtle aroma of bitter chocolate with a fringe of fruitiness. It gives a clean snap when broken and has a deep chocolate flavor with hints of coffee. We find the flavors of this bar to be the darkest of the Maglio offering.
