This delicious confiture is made from whole black cherries cooked in a delicate sugar syrup. Best paired with sheep's milk cheeses (particularly those from the Pyréneés region) or slathered on buttered toast. We were served a black cherry confiture with our Brebis, similar to this at the restaurant La Regalade in Paris, and knew we had to add this to our cheese condiment selection.
