Each knife in the Saladini cheese collection was designed with a specific cheese style in mind, and without excessive design flourishes.  This knife is designed to cut through semi-hard cheeses such as Montgomery Cheddar or Tomme de Savoie.  The knife is forged using AISI 420 stainless steel and the handle is made from polished buffalo horn.  The knife is just over 11 1/4 inches long.

Buffalo horn is a natural material and can vary in color from knife to knife. Generally, buffalo horn handles are solid black, but some will have some fine white coloration as well.
