A beautiful traditional levain style loaf from our friend Michael Rhoads of B&R Bakery in Framingham. Quite different than the Pain Poilane in that it has a crunchier crust and an interior that is a bit airier and moister.
Next to their baguettes, this is the bread we love on our dinner table or toasted up for breakfast. It has a mild sourdough flavor and works beautifully as an accompaniment to your cheese plate.
Each loaf is about 2 1/2 pounds but as an artisan product it will vary from loaf to loaf.
