Produced by Sergio Catalini on his farm just outside of Ortezzano in the Marche region of Italy, Sergio preserves ripe apricots (red orange variety) in a light sugar syrup. These apricots have a full flavor and a wonderfully succulent texture. Spoon over icecream or try alongside a hunk of aged pecorino. This jar contains both sliced apricots and whole apricots - which come away easily from their pits when ready to serve.
