When you work with cheese as much as we do, you start to see that certain cheeses pair well with certain wines or beers. You also find that certain cheeses are great before a meal, as a meal or after a meal. With this in mind, we have developed our pairing samplers.
When you order this sampler, you simply select the style of wine you will be serving with the cheese course and we will pick cheeses that we have found pair well with that wine. We will select four cheeses (usually a goat, cow, sheep and a blue), totally around 2 lbs which will feed 10 to 15 people depending on your appetite.
Pairing is, of course, a subjective experiment and we encourage you to have an open mind to the pairings and to give us your feedback on those pairings that worked well and those you didn't care for. If it is beer that you're having, try our Cheese and Beer pairing sampler.
