This beautiful sampler tin contains four 25g tins of the teas that helped established Dammann Freres as the premier tea purveyor in France. Their careful artistry in balancing the flavors of the tea with the fruit essences is evident in each of the four blends: Gout Russe Douchka - the original aromatic blend that Dammann has been making for over fifty years is a blend of unsmoked Chinese and Ceylon black teas with orange essence; Melange Mysterieux - a blend of unsmoked Chinese and Ceylon black teas with essence of blood orange, peach, strawberry, cherry and petals of sunflower and mauve; Jardin Bleu - a blend of unsmoked Chinese and Ceylon black teas with aromas of rhubarb and wild strawberries with brilliant blue cornflowers and sunflower petals; and Paul et Virginie - a blend of unsmoked Chinese and Ceylon black teas with aromas of caramel, cherry, strawberry, raspberry and vanilla. The tea is in bulk form and the sampler includes a stainless steel infuser spoon.
