Basil (dried)
A member of the mint family, basil features prominently in many cuisines worldwide, including Italian, Thai, Vietnamese and Cambodian. Basil is commonly used fresh in cooked recipes. It is generally added at the last moment, as cooking quickly destroys the flavor. There are many different type of basil, including sweet basil, thai basil and lemon basil. This is dried sweet basil.
